Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn (born in America) is an American actress. Her most well-known role was Skyler in the AMC's Breaking Bad drama, and she was the recipient of the Primetime Emmy Award Outstanding Supporting Female Actress in Drama Series 2013 & 2014. She has also played Jean Ward in The Practice, and Martha Bullock in Deadwood. Anna Gunn was born in Sante Fe New Mexico, in the year 1968. Her passion for performing in Preparatory School after which she moved to Ohio together with her family during the mid-70s. She was a theatre student in the theatre department at Northwestern University and spent a year in the British American Drama Academy. Anna was a part of a couple of seasons in Chicago theatre before moving on to film and TV roles. Anna had her first big part as Arden as Arden when Down the Shore aired 29 episodes in the year 1992. Anna continued to be in film and TV series such as Seinfeld, NYPD Blue and others until late the 1990's. Anna was later cast in The Practice as Jean Ward. Martha Bullock was her role in Deadwood in two full seasons. Skyler appeared as Martha Bullock in Breaking Bad (2008). Sully in addition to Deadwood was a different film that she starred in. Gunn played in David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers, a production that was directed by David Schwimmer. The actress, in 2022, also was a part of a four-part audio play podcast called Numbered Days. The story of Breaking Bad is determined by the love story between Walter White, his wife Skyler and their uneasy relationship. The deterioration of this relationship is akin to Walter White's final years.
