Christopher Peter Meloni was an American actor best known for playing in a popular show on television called 'Law and Order Special Victims Unit. His interest in acting began at the time of his college years. He was a student of acting at the University of Colorado at Boulder. While he's appeared in both films and television, but it was his character in the smaller screen that brought him fame and a large fans. He has been able to effortlessly play roles of characters from both sides of the law, and captivate the viewers' fascination. The first show he worked on was a television show, but he later played the part of an NYPD detective. His small-screen performances have been recognized with multiple Emmy Awards nominations and PRISM Awards. The deep blue eyes, with piercing lines that are said to make him look handsome. They've been instrumental in helping him play rough characters in a charismatic way. The actor was featured in People's magazine's list for the Sexiest Men Alive in 2006.
